Women's Rights

  • We support the ruling of the UK Supreme Court in "For Women Scotland v The Scottish Ministers", on 16 April 2025, that "sex" and "woman" in the Equality Act 2010 refer to biological sex. The ruling dictates that, for legal, sex-based protections, a person’s sex is determined at birth, and obtaining a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) does not change this status under the Act.

  • We support the legal right of women to have female-only toilets and changing rooms.

  • We oppose male convicts in women's prisons. To the extent that such males might be in danger in a men's prison then they should be given suitable protection.
